The organization Opportunity Training Center (OTC) helps young people with disabilities in Sierra Leone access education. The main goal of the project is to support OTC in finalizing their strategy, including working toward stronger integration of young people’s future careers within their local communities through an exit program. The initiativefocuses on Persons with Different Abilities (PDAs) – individuals with physical disabilities – with an emphasis on self-help.
The organization initially focused on supporting people affected by polio but now works with all categories of PDAs. OTC offers training in various fields, including tailoring, metalwork, blacksmithing, hairdressing, and basic IT.
