EWB's

BOARD

The Board of Engineers Without Borders Denmark (EWB) plays a central role in ensuring that our organization works in a focused and strategic manner toward our vision: to create sustainable solutions through engineering expertise and collaboration. We are responsible for the strategic direction and work to strengthen our efforts, both in Denmark and globally. This work takes place in close dialogue and cooperation with the Secretary General, the secretariat, and with the involvement of volunteers through dialogue meetings. The Board consists of dedicated professionals from diverse backgrounds who share a desire to make a positive difference. DO YOU WANT TO HEAR MORE ABOUT OUR WORK OR ARE YOU DREAMING OF GETTING INVOLVED?

Do you want to learn more about what the Board does, or are you considering taking part in the work at board level yourself? Reach out to one of us from the Board, and we’ll have a conversation.

As a member of the Board, you will have the opportunity to:

  • To shape EWB’s strategic direction.
  • To work with organizational development and professionalization.
  • To oversee the association’s finances, ethics, and legal matters.
  • To work closely with the Secretary General and evaluate their work with the organization, projects, and initiatives.
  • To ensure compliance with the bylaws – and work on adjustments that strengthen the association’s impact in our program and response countries.
  • To handle crisis situations and sudden changes where we need to step in with additional resources.
  • Ambassador role: In some contexts, the Board is the outward-facing representative. In other contexts (most often), this role is held by the Secretary General.

If you are interested, you are welcome to contact us for a non-binding conversation about how we work and how you can become part of our team.
