The Danish Disability Organisations (DH) and Engineers Without Borders Denmark invite all members of EWB and Architects Without Borders (AUG) to a hands-on seminar on inclusive construction, universal design, and accessibility.
Accessibility is about creating solutions that can be used by as many people as possible, and is therefore a key part of responsible and sustainable construction—no matter where in the world we work.
🇺🇦 Right now, the topic is especially relevant in Ukraine, where the war has left many people with physical injuries and new needs for accessible buildings and surroundings. That is why it is crucial that we strengthen our knowledge and tools to incorporate universal design into projects from the very beginning.
On the day, you will receive both an introduction to key concepts and concrete examples of how accessibility can be put into practice.
Speakers:
Ulla Kramer Terkelsen, GodAdgang.dk
Cora Valloire, accessibility consultant and auditor
Practical information:
📍 The seminar will take place at DH – Blekinge Boulevard 2, 2630 Taastrup
💚 Free for all members of EWB and AUG (not a member yet? Membership only costs DKK 400!)
