Spotlight on a Volunteer – Aleksander Birk Andersen

Paving the Way for Bright Minds

He is 32 years old, yet already something of a veteran as a volunteer with us, with several years of missions behind him—most recently in Ukraine. And the calm East Jutlander with the cap is someone people listen to:

“I’m good at creating an overview,” says Aleksander Birk Andersen—engineer and project manager at DIS – CREADIS Engineering Solutions & Consulting—on his way home after another week on the roads of Ukraine.

“I usually describe myself as a technology generalist. I try to pave the way so that the bright minds can go where they make the most impact.”

Hear also why his girlfriend and mother—despite air raid alarms and the ongoing rumble of war sometimes interrupting work in Ukraine—embrace Aleksander’s volunteer missions in the war-torn country.
