Spotlight on a Volunteer – Jens Erik Treldal

I SEE IT AS A CALLING TO HELP THE MOST VULNERABLE IN UKRAINE🇺🇦🤝

Jens Erik, an engineer at GRUNDFOS, doesn’t hesitate to address what may be a sensitive point for many who, after more than three years of war in Ukraine, feel powerless:

👉 “It’s true that the couch at home can suddenly feel a bit too soft when you keep hearing about these things. And you think: Maybe I could make a difference? And that’s where Engineers Without Borders offers this fantastic opportunity.”

🇩🇰 Meet 62-year-old Jens Erik Treldal from Herskind near Aarhus, who—while deployed as a volunteer engineer in Ukraine—helps, among other things, with advice on how to provide clean drinking water for a summer camp for particularly vulnerable Ukrainian children. Many of these children have lost their parents during the war.

📻 NOTE! On Monday, March 31, Jens Erik will also be a guest on DR P4 in the program “Formiddag på 4’eren”:
