EWB Receives Honorary Donation

It’s not every day you receive mail from Amalienborg…

That’s why we at Engineers Without Borders Denmark were both surprised and incredibly happy when a letter arrived with an honorary donation from the Nikolai and Felix Foundation – H.E. Count Nikolai and H.E. Count Felix Foundation.

The honorary donation was given “in recognition of the organization’s significant efforts to promote sustainable solutions and technical capacity building in vulnerable areas.”

“Recognition from a foundation like this is a huge pat on the back for our volunteers, and we are extremely proud. It truly boosts motivation among our volunteers, who work tirelessly to keep our efforts in Ukraine going,” says Secretary General Peter Horne Zartsdahl.

At the same time, we also received a donation for our response efforts, which provide urgent aid in Ukraine by deploying volunteer engineers as part of the Danish reconstruction program in Mykolaiv.

Thank you to the Nikolai and Felix Foundation for recognizing the tremendous work our volunteers do. And thank you to all our volunteers for dedicating your skills and free time to make a real difference for people in vulnerable areas!
