Solar energy and clean water for summer camp for war-affected children
We are working to ensure access to clean water and solar energy at a local summer camp for children affected by war. The camp serves as a much-needed respite in a daily life marked by conflict and insecurity, providing a safe space for play, community, and a sense of normalcy.
The summer camp is located in Sofiivka in the heavily war-affected Mykolaiv region, where Engineers Without Borders has a significant presence following an invitation from the region’s governor, Vitalii Kim.
The project contributes to more stable and sustainable facilities and supports children’s well-being through access to basic necessities such as water, energy, and safe living environments.
