Clean water for Ukrainian children

Hundreds of vulnerable Ukrainian children at a summer camp near the frontlines urgently need access to clean drinking water.

We are helping to solve the problem—now with entirely new, simple, and revolutionary technology.

“It’s a revolution in technical-humanitarian aid,” says our Secretary General, who recently visited the camp in southeastern Ukraine with a small team of volunteer engineers.

Also on the mission were new camera glasses, which will make the engineers’ work faster, easier, safer, and more cost-effective—for large partners, the Danish Red Cross, Danish Refugee Council, the Danish government, and Engineers Without Borders alike.

“We can solve technical challenges quickly and precisely, using very few resources. And the money saved in the process allows us to achieve much more with less funding.”

Here we are in Ukraine—and at the same time, we also have a volunteer team in Sierra Leone working with the camera glasses.
