The Product Development Group
The recently formed product development group has specific compentencies within construction and product development.
The group focuses its work on long-term development projects with the potential to provide relief and better life quality for people in the poorest parts of the planet. Solutions are mostly developed in Denmark before being implemented abroad.
Projects and product proposals
- Developing tools for the agriculture, construction, retail and other industries
- Medical equipment for hospitals and clinics as well as facilities for the handicapped
- Household equipment, incl. kitchen and sanitation.
- Rapid response equipment
The aim is to help people so they can help themselves, that is, we try to create and implement products for use in the day-to-day lives of the local population based on their needs and adapted to the local production possibilities, taking availlable, cheap materials into consideration.
Successful implementation also very much depends on the establishment of sustainable local initiatives where the local population as well as the public authorities (city councils, etc.) succeed in sufficiently motivating local business to start local production.
